A popular way to make money online is becoming an affiliate marketer.
The reason for this is that most of the work is already done for you. The product is created, the sales page is up and running, the product is delivered without you have to deal with the buyer.
The only task you have is to drive traffic to the offer you want to promote, and make some money. An easy way to make some money.
Is this possible in the real world?
Most people will say NO, and with a good reason.
The biggest challenge most people are facing when they want to make money on the net, is to drive traffic to their website or to their offer.
There are only two main ways of driving traffic to a website.
1.Paid traffic
2.Free traffic
Paid traffic can be expensive, if you don't know how to do it, and most of the people starting out as Internet marketers doesn't have money to spend in the first place.
The best way of starting out is with free traffic, but driving Free traffic to a website is very often time consuming and a slow way of getting visitors to a web page, and again, people who want to make money online don't have the time to wait because they need the money NOW.
When reality is hitting them, most people are giving up. 98% of those who gives an affiliate marketing a try is giving up without making one single cent.
Does it really have to be this way?
No, it doesn't.
The biggest reason why people are giving up, is because they are starting out the wrong way.
Well, actually they are starting out the correct way, and that is causing them the trouble.
Let me explain. When people are learning how to do online marketing in general, and affiliate marketing in special, they learn that they have to do a lot of preparation tasks.
They have to find a market, a niche, a product, some keywords, create a website and so on.
Nothing wrong with this at all, but for most people this will take a lifetime in learning and doing and when the grass is growing, the cow is dying.
So how can you make sure it doesn't happen to you?
My advice for those who is starting out with Internet marketing is to do it all reverse.
Find out what other successful people are doing and copy them down to the letter.
You don't have to reinvent the wheel when someone already has done the work for you.
See what other successful marketers are doing and do as they already are doing, just with another twist.
Here are some tips on how to figure out what other marketers are doing.
Go to some Internet marketing forums, and see what they are talking about. What do they promote?
Subscribe to some e-zines and see what they promote.
Go to some articles' directories and see what people are writing about, and see what they are promoting.
