CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, Nov. 23, 2009—Experienced Dentist and renowned dental consultant Dr. Paul Homoly hosted a successful dental consulting workshop this month at the Homoly Communications Institute, in Charlotte NC. The two-day workshop, titled, “Making it Easy for Patients to Say ‘Yes,’” focused on dental case acceptance for cosmetic, implant and restorative dentistry.

Participating dental teams engaged in role play and simulated case studies of both general and complex care patients, and focused on learning how to increase their dental case acceptance. Benefiting from a hands-on dental consulting experience, they left the workshop with renewed confidence and skills.

During the dental consulting workshop teams learned skills such as how to start the case acceptance process during the initial telephone call, how to make it immediately obvious to patients during the new patient interview that they are in the right dental office, and how to develop and enable the dental team to have a huge positive impact on patients.

Participating dentists also learned about attracting complete care patients, fee and financial presentation discussions and profitability management. Yet another focus of the dental consulting session was on presenting care in a way that creates hope and eliminates confusion, while presenting fees, financial arrangements, and patient financing in ways that have proven effective for decades.

Workshop participants also received Dr. Homoly’s book and audio CD set Making it Easy for Patients to Say “Yes,” and, due to a special pricing office, all offices purchased Dr. Homoly’s new, online and DVD curriculum, YES! On-Line. The dentists and their teams were thrilled to take home this innovative and step-by-step in-office curriculum to help them implement all they learned at the workshop.

Dr. Homoly runs dental case acceptance workshops like this one several times a year. “Dr. Paul Homoly’s workshop is outstanding,” said past participants Drs. Gregory and Joanne Szalai. “We’re doing bigger cases with less stress and enjoying a much better bottom line. Our staff loved this workshop and they use what they’ve learned every day. Homoly’s workshop is a gift to dentistry.” Dr. Homoly’s dental consulting has helped practices across the country increase their average treatment fees and achieve greater case acceptance, ultimately boosting practice profitability.

Dr. Homoly also runs regular two-day workshops focused on persuasive and compelling speaking and communication techniques, called, “Just Because You’re an Expert Doesn’t Make You Interesting.” Dentists or any professionals who have content-rich topics they regularly discuss or speak to audiences about can learn more about or register for either of these recurring workshops by visiting http://www.paulhomoly.com.
