EPA Lead Training Certification - ABLE Safety Consulting, an EPA Certified Renovator is conducting Day-Long EPA Lead Safety Training and Testing in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, North Carolina, Virginia, and Washington DC.
On April 22, 2010, the US Environmental Protection Agency’s
(EPA) Renovation, Repair and Painting Regulation (RRP Rule) became fully
effective and enforceable.
The RRP Rule requirements will apply to all “renovations” in
pre-1978 buildings where lead-based paint will be disturbed by the work. Legal
entities performing these “renovations” will have to apply to EPA to become
Certified Renovation Firms. Additionally, the firms’ workers will have to be
trained as “Certified Renovators” by EPA-accredited training providers or
receive on-the-job training in lead-safe work practices from Certified
Renovators.
