cleaners, added improved navigation features to the steam cleaner product pages
of Daimer.com. The navigation improvements are based around a set of five tabs
that facilitate locating product information with a minimum of mouse
clicks.

Better Navigation for Buyers of Steam
Cleaners
Daimer® web and graphic designers chose to use a
hierarchical tab structures to facilitate navigation for Internet users. The
designers added a total of five tabs to each steam
cleaner landing page. The default tab describes the
product and its key features. Clicking the specifications tab displays in-depth
technical information including: temperature ratings, pressure capabilities,
dimensions and other details.
Clicking a tab for parts included produces a steam cleaners
page with images of the components Daimer® ships with a particular product,
including brushes, steam lances and more.
The video tab produces a list of online videos showing
different steam cleaners and their applications. For example, one video shows
the key products in Daimer®’s line of portable
steam cleaner machines, including the 300CS, 1000CV
and 5000CV. Other videos cover gum removal, tile and grout cleaning and a
primer on consumable brushes.
The final tab allows visitors where to download a digital
brochure for different steam cleaners. The full set of tabs appears on any of
the related pages, so visitors know where they are, and so they can easily
click around the section.
