Hair loss can also be due to a naturally occurring event in your body such as when testosterone is converted to dihydrotestosterone which in some genetically predisposed women, attacks the hair follicles and cause them to shed hair and stop growing hair. There are natural ways one can restore hair back to the head or scalp. Below are some remedies for hair loss.

1. Not only being used in body painting, henna is also an effective herb to fight hair loss.  Boil a cup of mustard oil with four tablespoon henna (mehendi) leaves.  Filter the mixture and you can keep it in a bottle if you like.  Massage it on the bald patches regularly.

2. Another natural remedy of hair loss is combining some products like honey, grapefruits, aloe vera, arnica and gooseberries to get a mixture that will help new hair growth and reduce hair loss. After combining these natural substances, you massage your scalp and hair with it and begin to experience a healthy hair growth.

3. Massaging the scalp daily will reap huge dividends. Massage stimulates the scalp by increasing the supply of oxygen and vital nutrients, essential for good hair growth. Most importantly, a massage easies tension knots on the nape of the neck and improves blood flow to the cervical region.

4. They can help prevent falling hair and cure minor scalp disorders. Use them at least three times a week. You can buy ready-to-use hot oil treatments that contain sesame, olive, or coconut oils. More relaxing hot oil treatments contain essential oils such as thyme, lavender, and others.

5. Rosemary and sage have been used historically in the Mediterranean region to treat hair loss, particularly in cases of alopecia (baldness).  Boil equal parts of rosemary and sage the strain the liquid.  Use it as hair rinse to treat hair loss.

6. Grind lime seeds and pepper together. Make a fine paste. This paste when applied to the bald patch has a mild irritant action. It stimulates the sluggish scalp and hair follicles. It improves the circulation of blood in the affected area and stimulates hair growth. The paste should be applied for twice a day for about 6 weeks.

7. Chop a piece of ginger and directly apply it to the area of the head with bald spots. This can be an effective remedy for hair loss because it helps the growth of hair follicles. Since it can be smelly, you can use its extract that is combined with fine lead powder.

8. Diet affects both male and female pattern baldness. Adjusting your diet wouldn't be such a bad idea such as eating foods that contain all nutrients required for hair growth. Good diet is a natural remedy of hair loss. Eat food rich in minerals such as calcium and magnesium, proteins, vitamins gotten from green vegetables. If you are a female and suffering from female pattern baldness, you should increase you intake of protein and zinc as they stimulate hair growth. This is one of the best hair loss treatment.

9. Not only these vegetables are health, lettuce and spinach are useful in preventing hair loss. A combination of lettuce and spinach juice is believed to help the growth of hair if taken to the extent to half a liter a day.
