How To Acquire a Domain Name

So you have a website or idea for a website but the domain you have in mind has already been registered. You have looked around at other potential domain names but that one name would really go well and you understand the importance of a good domain to push your future brand or website.

When domain names are registered with what is their “registry” through a registrar they much be assigned contact information to the owner much like a house or car. You can go to what is called the “whois” and find this contact information with an email, phone number and/or name of the owner. Unlike a car or house though this information can be blocked by the owner and a good amount of time with generic domains owners have done this. What to do?

If a domain is not blocked you can contact the owner yourself, would I recommend this? No. I am going to assume that you the reader do not broker or handle domain names for a living so why not contact someone who does? Sure we will ask for a commission but we have a better chance of acquiring the domain you want at a more reasonable price since we know more about the industry.

If the contact whois is blocked NameConnect.com can still contact the owner since we know most registrar owners, we have numerous contacts in the domain name industry and will handle all of the legwork in acquiring the domain name for you.

If anything, we are willing to sign an NDA, hear your needs and wants and advise you for free on what we think would be the best approach to acquiring that perfect domain!
