Are you looking to get tight abs yet you are having troubles finding the right abs diet recipes? Having a proper abs diet recipe is essential for anyone’s conquest to get abs. It is said that between 80 to 85% of your abs targets and goals are achieved in the kitchen while the remainder in the gym. What you eat will determine whether you reach your abs goal or fall short. Here are some great abs diet recipes and tips that you could try out to help you with your abs goals.
Healthy eating tip: Have 6 to 7 small meals a day. This will ensure that you do not snack on junk food during the day and also speed up your body’s metabolism rate so that you burn off carbohydrates and fat faster.
Fresh Fruit Smoothie
A great post workout snack that should be on everyone’s dieting meal plan. Just choose any fresh fruit like bananas, passion fruit, papaya, apples, pears, berries and throw them into a blender with some low fat or soy milk. Add a few ice cubes to really bring out the punch in the drink. This is one of my personal favorites.
Vegetable Juice
Get a whole lot of fresh seasoned vegetables and throw them in a juicer. For green leafy vegetables, the greener they are, the more healthy the vegetable. When this is made, it does not smell or taste too good but is one of the healthiest meals out there. This can actually replace your meal. Here is a tip: wash your vegetables the night before or some time before you decide to juice them and leave them to drip dry. That allows for all the water to come out of the vegetables. This ensures that your juice is purely vegetables.
Apple and Spinach Salad
For this salad you will need 2 tablespoons each of fresh lime and orange juice, 2 teaspoons each of Dijon mustard and honey, half a cup of freshly chopped red onion, 8 cups (8 ounces) of fresh baby spinach, 1 large cored and thinly sliced apple and a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Place the juices, honey, mustard, salt and pepper in a small bowl and whisk the ingredients together. Once done combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and toss it. Extra tip: top with blue cheese.
