Build Muscle Loose Fat In Only 2 Weeks Or Less!

Despite the rise in obesity and weight problems generally, increasing numbers of people nowadays are very conscious about their own health and fitness. Health and fitness magazines may be to blame but perhaps it is also a desire to improve the way we look in a very image conscious society that we live in. As a result, gyms, health spas and other fitness centres have proliferated all over to cater to the needs of the fitness and body conscious enthusiasts.

It is not as if you can get away from it as the advertising for diet and fitness equipment is also on the television as well. What isn't given enough emphasis though is the responsibility we all have to eat healthy as part of this regime and not just to expect exercise and fitness to be a cure-all. Diet and fitness are as essential as exercise itself as they provide the essential nutrition we need to restore worn-out muscles and for healthy growth as a result they should never be taken for granted. The two opposing views on this subject just confuse the issue with the high-carb and high-fat groups both saying their method is best.

What makes this confusing for the amateur is that one side says that you are better of eating foods high in fat when you exercise and the others state you need to eat foods that are a good source of carbohydrates. The high carbohydrate diets are good for storing glycogen in our muscles for when we need to perform short lived but very fast exercise as opposed to cardiovascular.

The other camp believe that because fat is a higher source of calories an it metabolizes in a fraction of the time it takes carbohydrates, then these are the foodstuffs we should consume before exercise. However, whichever diet you use may depend on the type of activity you perform as well but the two diets are not to be mixed up unless you want to add extra pounds to your body mass.

All this is fine if you are exercising regularly but a diet fitness regime is also about reducing the body fat. Research shows that sustainable loss of weight can only be achieved on a diet which suits the individual food preferences, lifestyle and medical profile.

Many diets can help you lose weight but to maintain it requires something that will make you feel good about yourself as well as making you feel healthy and that often means eating some of the things you like but in moderation. The reason for this the importance of certain foods to our health and wellbeing as some are actually crucial for our survival.
