Have a ball with football shirts

All sportsmen agree with regard to one thing, which is that no game fosters such a spirit of team feeling as football. A football shirt, thus, is a vibrant symbol of team solidarity, among other things. Did we say ‘other things’? Well these include football shirts being fashion statements. That’s right! The well-heeled crowd is increasingly turning towards 2010 World Cup shirts to stylish retro stuff.

Old is gold, right? Well, what do you know, there’s plenty to pick from. Those of us who couldn’t take our eyes off the TV set watching some excellent dribbling by the Leyton Orient team of Britain would probably dig their blood red full-length one hundred percent cotton T-shirt with its unique non-fade print.

But if you’ve been supporting the South American Leagues you might find yourself drooling over Arsenal de Sarandi shirts with their well-defined v-necks and team embossment. A perfectly decent-looking Arsenal shirt comes for around $60.   An Arsenal Centenary shirt (1985) in polyester comes for far less, on the other hand.

Or, are you a supporter of the largest American Football league in the world like NFL? In that case, you may happily join the league of fans showing solidarity to NFL by donning football shirts that look utterly chic in soft-touch fabrics, v-neck collars and the symbolic colors striped over the sleeves in a dynamic yet stylish statement.

And if you happen to come from Tempe in Arizona you might want to lend support to Arizona Cardinals, the oldest American football team in the US. By sporting their shirts, of course. Their passionately crimson football shirt with the team’s symbolic eagle logo looks drop dead gorgeous with its round neck aggressively emphasized.

Do you like Buffalo Bill? Oh no, we are not referring to the swashbuckling hero of the old Wild West days but the NFL team that is based in New York and named after … well, you know who? The eponymous team boasts an array of sartorial wonders as well. A major draw is the vintage Buffalo Bills Heather Navy Blue Retro football shirt which is usually available at just under $25. Its inviting screen print graphics and red-knit collar tend to wow the young and old alike. And if you are willing to shell out a little bit extra you can have the team’s long-sleeved premium blue T-shirt for just a little over $30.

Then there are those of you who simply swoon over Campeonato Brasileiro or the Brazilian football leagues correct? Well, in that case, how about a football shirt that is representative of the great Ronaldo’s stable, the Corinthians? These much sought-after shirts may leave a little bit of a hole in your wallet but at just under $ 64 you might be one of the lucky ones to walk away with Corinthian shirt. So, get out there and have a ball!
