Colon cancer is a vicious tumor that emerges within the inner wall of the large intestine. Colon cancer may develop from polyps and its early removal can prevent from the cancer. Cancer is an alteration of the normal cells, causing them to grow and multiply at an abnormal rate. Women who adopted the HRT medications showed a decreased occurrence rate of cancer as compared to the ones not using the medication. It has been verified that HRT in the form of estrogen only or combined with progestin show tremendously positive results in curing colon cancer.
