More people are looking to their garden as a place of refuge and an extra space for entertaining. Therefore, it is important that one have outdoor furniture that is both functional and beautiful. In a some gardens one may not have the open space required for seating, however with the use of tree benches this problem can be solved.

Incorporating the use of tree benches in the overall design of a garden helps one to expand the usable space in the yard. Tree benches are shaped in a hexagon around the base of trees. They can be placed around mature trees or newly planted trees.

There are many types of garden benches. Some individuals created garden benches from stones used for flower beds around trees. These often were shifted as trees grew and roots pushed the stones away from the tree. The garden benches gaining popularity now allow a tree to grow without disturbing the seating area of the bench.

The benches are designed to compliment the outdoor furniture of the garden. They provide an individual with extra seating for guests when entertaining or a quiet refuge when one wishes to sit and relax. The benches are made from many materials that allow one the flexibility to choose from a natural material or a metal.

The tubular continuity of many steel garden benches compliment modern and contemporary furniture in the garden. These benches are made with a free and open design that allows one to sit and enjoy the garden easily. One can easily see under the bench and many people choose to plant bright seasonal flowers in these areas.

The classic design of Adirondack outdoor furniture is continued with the Adirondack tree bench. This bench provides one with the support and stability of other Adirondack furniture and compliments an environmentally friendly garden. The white cedar wood can be stained or oiled to maintain it's beauty. The thick back posts of the bench are available in a standard height or one can choose a taller back.

The classic elegance of the sand cast aluminum tree bench allows one to enjoy their wrought iron furniture and it's delicate detailing. These benches provide support but also the details that are found in classic furniture. By placing other outdoor furniture around the tree bench one can create a casual area for chatting or reading.

Among the many styles of tree benches that there are to select from one may choose something unique. A tree bench that has armrests at each hexagon point provides the individuals sitting at the bench with a feeling of space and intimacy at the same time. These benches often come with cushions that fit snugly on each hexagon section of the bench. An individual feels as though they are sitting in a large chair.

Tree benches are made in a variety of styles and materials which vary the price greatly. One can find tree benches that will compliment their furniture at very affordable prices. The tree bench may be the focal point of a garden and contain many details that can affect the overall price of the bench.

An outdoor furniture professional will be able to provide details on the tree benches that will fit best in the garden layout that one chooses. The garden tree bench will be an invaluable addition for gardens that require extra seating but have limited space.
