Marlows launch website to promote regeneration of Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter

Birmingham, England  - Leading certified diamond specialist Marlows have launched a new website to help promote the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter, and are throwing their weight behind schemes to regenerate the area and attract visitors.

Located at: http://www.the-quarter.com/, the website advertises the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter and highlights what there is to do when visiting one the United Kingdom's most affluent trading areas. There are listings for food, drink and entertainment venues including local bars and restaurants, and the locations of art galleries and museums. There is a section dedicated to creating wedding packages via shops in the vicinity and, of course, the location of local jewellers in the area.

The Marlow family have been trading in Birmingham's jewellery quarter for over three generations and are leading diamond certification specialists, specialising in diamonds and diamond engagement rings. They are heralding the launch of the website as a monumental step in attracting visitors to the area and are pressing for regeneration in a location steeped in history. Metal working has been taking place in the area since the 14th Century, with elegant jewellery fashion cementing its status as an affluent area for jewellery sales since the 1800s.

"Our whole family has centred around and traded in the Jewellery Quarter for decades, and it is a huge part of our lives," says Carol Marlow of Marlows Certified Diamonds. "We have always seen the beauty of the area and regard it as far more than a shopping complex. Birmingham's history is within every brick and we feel there is scope for the area to receive a lot more recognition internationally than it currently does. We are delighted with the website's launch and hope it grows accordingly alongside the Jewellery Quarter over time."
