U-Boat Watches: Watches that Endure the Test of Time

The person behind the luxury watch, the U-boat watch, is the one and only Italo Fontana. These wrist watches were manufactured during 1942 and were meant to be a series of watches for U-boat officers and the Italian Air Force. These watches at that time were regarded as indestructible and very convenient that in any scenario or circumstance the person is in, he or she could still read them easily. The manufacturer, Italo Fontana, was ready and he knew precisely what to do, organizing all his thoughts into work, however, problems occurred that prevented him from accomplishing what he planned to do.

Due to some political circumstance at that time which stopped him from making wrist watches, he collected all his ideas, drawings, samples, and other creative materials and conserved it for approximately sixty long years. With all the color samples, original drawings and materials that the present day could possibly supply, in the year 2000, one of his cousins finally unveiled the U-boat collection to the world to finally reveal Fontana’s dream. U-boat watches incorporate style and force, showing the unique individuality of the individual behind the maker. This unique Swiss watch took many years to develop and refine. It had been genuinely inspired by early eighteenth-century craftsmanship, strength, and character.

This watch is regarded as a rare artisan quality, the production of which reached toward new dimensions in watch making. All of these timepieces created are designed with a case, and on the left side of it a crown symbol can be found, a very unique element. Classic yet very powerful, the distinctive symbol is the brand statement. This watch is particularly convenient to wear although the size is very oversized. All items in the collection are mechanically made by the Swiss ETA movements, whether manual or automatic, each are made into full bodied and very large steel cases. Crystals and some precious metals are combined magnificently with rubber and some steel details, challenging past design standards in the world of watch making.

A few varieties of collections would be the Limited Edition, 18k Gold, Sterling Silver, Classico, U boat Flightdeck, Thousand feet. Most of which have special functions, for example, the uniqueness of the straps, or some of the watches consist of 25 jewels - which are assembled and designed in Italy. Different models made by U-boat amaze watch connoisseurs all over the world by its excellence.

People who like oddly developed watches which are enormous and with a perfectly readable dial would love to have such a impressive timepiece. Celebrities such as Tom Cruise, and Arnold Schwarzenegger are one of the clients of this company. This timepiece is quite costly but it is perfectly understandable. All timepieces made by U-boat are remarkably accurate, durable, reliable, and are created by a prestigious brand. Take into account that the fact that this timepiece is also regarded as jewelry is because models are created from very expensive materials, such as platinum, gold, and even gemstones like rubies and diamonds.
