Myspace Blocked?
Annoyed that your stuck behind a firewall and an administrator has disabled your favorite site access?
Many places, including schools and libraries, are disabling access to sites like Myspace, Bebo, Facebook, Hi5, and Xang.
Additionally many entities are blocking access to social networking, file-sharing, instant messaging, and email sites like Gmail, Yahoo! Mail and Hotmail.
Many of these sites are blocked so that children will be more productive at school or due to questionable content.
However, there are still ways to get around the firewalls and filters that restrict access to these sites.
The easiest way to unblock Myspace is to use a Web Proxy to bypass the firewall or filter.
A web based proxy gets you access to a page that has been blocked by tunneling all traffic via the proxy.
Thus it appears to the firewall or filter as if you are only accessing the web proxy site.
Thus a web proxy not only gives you access to blocked pages, but it also makes you anonymous.
To use a web proxy simply type the URL (like www.myspace.com) into the proxy page and it will unblock the page for you.
When you use a proxy or anonymizer the administrators will not be able to see what you access, they will only be able to see that you went to the proxy page.
Myspace users can browse Myspace, login, post comments, blog, etc…
