Every once in a while, it is good to stop what you are doing and consider where you are in life. Are you happy? Are you satisfied with where you are in life? This article presents a few questions that you should ask yourself so you will hopefully will gain some insight into your own thoughts and move towards self-improvement.
1. Am I Happy With Where I Am in Life?
Being at peace with the way your life has gone is a big part of self-improvement. This is because you can step back for a moment and analyze where you are in life, if you are not happy with what you see then you can take active steps to change it. However, maybe you have not actually ended up anywhere quite yet. Perhaps you still have a ways to go before you can say that you have landed somewhere.
2. Have I Done Enough For Just Me?
It is good to help other people in life, but not everything that you do has to revolve around others. Sometimes it is good to simply do something nice for yourself. Doing something nice for yourself will put you in a better mood and allow you to explore your interests. Try to do something good for yourself at least once a year.
3. Am I Healthy?
Many people say that if you don't have your health then you don't have anything. Health is an extremely important part of life. If we are unhealthy, we often experience a decreased feeling of self worth. You want to make sure that you are around for yourself and for your loved ones for a long time. The best way to do this is to maintain your health.
Think hard about all of these questions and then consider what your answers mean to your own self-improvement.

Hey, Stop Snoozing Over There!May 8, 2011 - 9:07:14 AM We lead lives filled with bells and whistles. Unfortunately, they aren't the kind that mean upgrades! Instead, I'm referring to the constant alerts that sound during our day starting with the alarm clock in the morning signaling that a new day has begun to the wristband alert at night reminding us to take our medication. The good news is that these alerts help us remember to do all the things we need to get done each day. Unfortunately, there's a "bad news" part too.... [Read the full story] |
