Revellers at Katie Price's New Year's party at her Surrey home were met with a strict fancy dress code the night of 31 December. According to the Mail, the glamour girl turned business woman offered the theme of 'magical, enchanted, Disney or wow factor' to her guests. Price herself was reportedly set to dress as apumpkin until midnight, whereupon they would fine-tune in to something a bit more comfortable. It is been claimed that they and fella Alex Reid spent seven hours scouring London for the bestfancy dress costumes they could find.
Other attendees, according to The Sun, came as witches, angels and characters from The Wizard of Oz. Even the tiny ones got in the festive spirit with children's fancy dress.
"Katie thought they was being clever by making them be friends," the Daily Record reported seven partygoer as saying. "They managed to control their egos until after midnight then all hell broke loose."
Unfortunately, the party was not without incident, according to The Mirror. Reid, dressed as a gladiator, and Price's former flame Dane Bowers, as Zorro, came to blows over Price and Reid's relationship.
There has been some speculation about the fight however, with detractors noting that the scrapping suitors were soon to move in to the Celebrity Sizable Brother house, and the action could have represented an attempt to boost interest in the program. Either way, the cross dressing cage fighter will likely have a chance to dress up during the last series of the popular reality show but hopefully won't find an opportunity for a punch up.
