Jogging is the least expensive most common form of exercise in the world. Most runners need the best running shoes and they are off to the races or are off for miles of jogging cross country enjoying the beauty of nature. For the average person a 6 minute mile is very achievable and will burn 850 calories. That is great news as jogging is a very affordable habit that allows the user to build their bodies while having a great time. Encouragement to keep jogging is provided by the best pairs of footwear.
Great jogging footwear will encourage you to love running. Poor quality ones are those that are not built for your type of foot or gait. Shoe companies spend lots of money trying to convince you that they have the right shoe for every runner.
The truth of the matter is you need to understand what each type of shoe provides and what to look for in a great pair of jogging footwear. The four main types of these footwear are motion control, stability, cushioning, and lightweight training.
The second type of jogging footwear is stabilizer ones. The main feature of these footwear is their stability with a midsole with extra cushioning. They are the ideal for those who have a natural gait where the foot rolls to the inside or outside. To determine if this is a problem for you, turn over an old pair. If either side of the pair shows excessive wear then you will probably be most comfortable with a motion control pair. This problem is often caused by moderately low arches.
When you run does your foot roll to the inside or the outside? If you are not sure, then turn over an old pair of tennis footwear. Look and see if the wear is even all the way across the shoe. If so your foot does not roll. If there seems to be more wear on the inside or outside of the shoe then your foot rolls. The best running shoe for those with a rolling gait is a stabilizer running shoe which has extra cushioning in the midsole.
A runner will enjoy this kind of shoe if they have a natural gait with an arch that is rigid. The runners body may have a little difficulty absorbing shock. This type of foot has a somewhat rigid arch that does not fall apart and therefore the foot does not absorb enough shock. This type of runner needs a shoe that has a lot of cushioning built into it. To test the cushioning take it out and see how far you can bend it. If you can bend it almost in half then this may be the right footwear for this type of runner.
The fourth type of is known as the lightweight trainer. These are often known as cross trainers. They are ideal for those who want one pair of shoes to do many physical activities. They will offer great support for lateral moves. These are great for those who have a smooth natural gait.
As with any product often quality means being willing to spend a little extra money. A runner should expect to replace their shoes after 500 miles. 500 miles of comfort is worth the money. Different runners have different requirements. Often the best solution is to have your gait tested.
Running is the frequently used way of fitness. Many persons do not know wear what shoes. Here i recommend Nike Shox Shoes.
