Vacations to St. Thomas are turning into quite the popular spot to go. St Thomas is located in the Virgin Islands and is reputed for having some of the bluest waters and nicest beaches in the world. In fact, Magen’s Bay beach has on numerous occasions been voted the #1 beach in the world. If you’re a fan of fun in the sun, or even just someone that loves relaxing on a sandy shore then you need to plan a St. Thomas vacation. From the moment you step off the airplane you’ll be glad you made the trip to St. Thomas.

St. Thomas features a number of beautiful hotels and resorts, many of which are positioned right on the shoreline. You’ll have no trouble finding the perfect accommodations for your needs; ranging from the larger all-inclusive resorts to tiny boutique hotels and everything in between.

The island is filled with all the luxuries of life. They have great food; great people and they keep the fun coming. St. Thomas has a number of activities easily accessible including scuba diving, jeep rentals, deep sea fishing, snorkeling and a bunch more. Whether you’re planning a vacation just for two or for the whole family, St. Thomas will be more than accommodating. St. Thomas’ main town, Charlotte Amelie, also offers up duty free shopping and some great deals on jewelry, liquor and clothing. Even if shopping isn’t your thing, it’s worth a trip to town just to walk around and experience the St. Thomas culture.

Also, a St. Thomas vacation wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the neighboring island of St. John where the vast majority of land is a forested national park. St. John is perfect for hiking and getting away from civilization for a bit, but after a day or two you’ll likely be ready for some more fun on St. Thomas.

After a visit to St. Thomas for vacation it’s hard not to want to go back year after year. The beauty, the people and the beaches make it truly an island paradise and a perfect vacation escape from the hustle and bustle of life.
