Writing a book is a challenge in itself but doing it is only half the job. Once you get it done, marketing it is another story, especially if it’s self-published. There are different techniques that you can use to promote your book; however, you would want something that would be easy yet cost-effective… and that is where the Internet comes in.
The Internet provides a variety of ways that you can take advantage of to market your self-published book. It is generally easy to use and can be very effective if you know how and where exactly to advertise. The first step is knowing which sites are popular among your target audience. Once you have this information, you can find out if there are opportunities for you to post an ad in those sites that may be linked directly to your own website. Having your own website will be a great way to market a self-published book because here, you can post a lot of general information about your book that readers may want to know. Also, consumers can easily post their comments and questions here provided that you design a space intended for that. Whether you make it yourself or have someone make it for you depends on you.
