Why Do So Many Stop Network Marketing?

I'm always suprised at the number of people who fail in the Network Marketing trade and how many people drop out of the industry after only 3 months or less, are we seriously lacking in the way we train our new reps?

When we look at the Network Marketing scheme we see a business model that has the potential to build a nice flow of residual cheques without the hassles of a brick and mortar business.  Sure you will need to work hard at it but at the end of the day it's achievable.  Lots of networking companies out there offer breathtaking products and an attractive payout plan that offer some significant leverage.  So why is it that there are so many failure stories around and ridiculous statistics like that of a 15% retention rate in the industry?

I've had conversations with many networkers recently and the folks that have not made a dime have all said the reason they did not make it is due to lack of support from their sponsor and company.  Nearly all I spoke to said that the extent of their training pretty much boiled down to talking to friends and family, door-to-door, bothering people in social gatherings and leaving those annoying 'income opportunity cards' on car windscreens.

In today's market these methods don't really work, we are swamped out with the lastest money making schemes and there is always somebody around the corner trying to sell us something, so as a society we have become deaf to these worn out pitches.  As we all know the traditional prospecting ploys don't deliver in building a huge team of distributors in our business.  This I found out for myself when I was just getting started in MLM.

I noticed my business really starting to explode when I started marketing online and combined it with my offline efforts, using both together really made a big difference to my business.  I bought Mike Dillards 'Magnetic Sponsoring' which teaches the attraction marketing methods, this is absolute gold and a must have for any Network Marketer.  Since taking on this mindset and then practising what he teaches my business methods are now 200% more successful, Mike Dillards attraction marketing techniques are an absolute must if you want to be a leader in this trade.

To maximise your profits in your business you must be making full use of the power of the internet, after all it's not rocket science and anyone with reasonable intelligence can do it.  It's important that you brand and market yourself and what you can offer your prospects.  Get out there and offer some real value in the form of information and education, get yourself known via the various social web 2.0 sites, article writing and video creation is very effective.  These are effective methods to brand yourself.

By offering value and training to your prospects I can guarantee that you will attract more people to you than if you just market a replicated company website.  Most people have seen those before and to be quite frank are probably fed up with them, there's goodness knows how many folks on the internet pitching links to a company website that purports to be the hottest thing on the internet

It's important to remember that by giving real value you become more valuable to your prospects, people will become wanting to know more about your business.  Naturally folks want to be involved with people that they can trust and like.  Your prospects are looking for a coach and mentor, you can become that leader if you will allow it to happen and are prepared to educate yourself.  The leaders are the one's who will make it to the top, make it a sure thing you are one of them and ensure sure that you are utilising a network marketing system that will recruit and instruct your prospects in the most useful way achievable!
