The 2015 Nissan Frontier has varying options, depending on the specific needs of the consumer in question. J.D. Power, through McGraw Hill Financial, breaks it down with their specifications. The Frontier S has a 5 speed transmission, 152 horsepower, 2.5 liter, 4 cylinder engines. The miles per gallon on this beauty averages between 19 and 23 depending on the driving environment. The SV-14 also has a 5 speed transmission with the same engine specifications as well as miles per gallon. The SV runs on a 5 speed transmission system. Its engine boasts a 261 horsepower, 4.0 liter 6 cylinder engine with an average fuel economy of 16 to 22. The Nissan Desert Runner offers the same transmission and motor options as the SV. The PRO-4X shows off a 6 speed transmission with a 261 horsepower, 4.0 liter, 6 cylinder engine running strong under its’ hood with highway and city miles per gallon averaging out at 16 to 21. The final option is the SL which boasts a 5 speed transmission and a 261 horsepower, 4.0 liter 6 cylinder engine. The SL has a highway fuel economy of 16 to 22.
