It's common knowledge that wart removal treatments can be executed within a doctor's office, but many natural home remedies for removing warts are available too. These home remedies may typically be categorized into procedures that restrict the skin wart's oxygen supply as well as those that break down the skin wart on contact. You must ensure you do not harm the surrounding skin when working with a home treatment method to clear out your unwanted warts.
Our good old pal Duck tape is a very common means of depriving a wart of oxygen. It involves thoroughly covering the wart with Duct tape to create an airtight seal. Make sure you change the tape every day and make sure that it isn't going to stop your circulation to any healthy tissues. This technique may also prove to be effective with Scotch tape and packing tape too.
Over-the-counter toothpaste is yet another effective wart removal methodology that restricts a wart’s oxygen. Apply a liberal amount of toothpaste on the top of the targeted wart making sure you don't get any toothpaste on the surrounding skin. Completely cover the skin wart using an adhesive Band-Aid and continue this process every day. This process generally gets rid of the unwanted wart inside of a day or two.
Apple vinegar is a wart removal method that melts away the wart. Use a cotton pad soaked with apple vinegar and set it on the top of the wart. The cotton used has to be secured to the skin wart using a bandage, leaving the saturated cotton in place through the night. Continue this procedure every night until the skin wart goes away completely. The affective elements contained in apple cider vinegar consist of malic acid together with acetic acid.
Aspirin is also a means of directly targeting a wart. Smash an aspirin pill and squeeze in a few water drops to create a thick paste. Apply the paste to the unwanted wart and then cover it with an adhesive bandage to clear out the wart.
Handle larger sized warts with an aspirin tablet by just covering up the wart with a thin coating of essential olive oil and positioning the aspirin tablet on the top of the actual wart. Keep the aspirin tablet in place overnight with a Band-Aid and remove it the next morning. Acetylsalicylic acid happens to the active ingredient in aspirin.
Aloe is a gel-like product which comes from the leaves of the aloe vera plant. It contains antraquinones, which have been effective in wart removal over a prolonged time period. Apply the aloe vera to a swath of cotton wool and hold it in position on the wart with a protective bandage. Don't forget to change the dressing two times daily.
