A new espionage thriller novel was released this week and will offer college students nationwide an opportunity to win $10,000 by participating in an essay contest about the intriguing "what if" concept woven through the novel.

Successful entrepreneur-turned-novelist, Geoff Hammond, released his
first espionage novel The Last Khan this week online and is hosting a
$10,000 essay scholarship contest for college students nationwide
through Horizon Publishing.
"Horizon Publishing is committed to attracting young, aspiring and
talented writers and editors into the world of publishing, so in
addition to the scholarship award, we will offer a summer apprenticeship
opportunity to the winner following the completion of the academic
year", said Mark Blackburn, one of the publishers at Horizon Publishing.
College students nationwide can purchase the book online on Amazon and
may submit their essay at The Last Khan site by the deadline of
March 31, 2012, in order to participate. The essay winner as well as
the winning essay will be posted on the book's website on May 31, 2012.
