Develop Your Twitter Strategy - How To Automate Your Twitter Posts

Social media is an amazingly powerful tool for not only keeping in touch and finding out what is going out there but for marketing purposes. Twitter is one of those social media places many people are addicted too. One of the main reasons is - it is short and sweet. Twitter lets you get right to the point. You only have so many characters to use in which to get your message across. If you haven't developed a twitter strategy than you should! It's a great way to build followers and brand yourself.

You only have so many characters to use in which to get your message across. If you haven't developed a twitter strategy than you should! It's a great way to build followers and brand yourself.

Time Savers

When planning your twitter strategy there are several programs out there you can use that can help you automate the whole process. This will save you time and keep you from having to log in to and manually post however many times a day you have as a set goal. I personally use Social Oomph but there are other applications out there that can do the job just as well. These are great for automating posts.

How to Automate Your Posts

When you use one of these programs you simply log in, write your posts and schedule how often you want them to go out to Twitter. This is a great way to establish your online presence and keep up with what's going on in the social media world. Most of these applications also let you choose if yo0u want to automatically follow those that follow you or if you want to do that manually.

Brand Yourself

Use your twitter strategy as part of your overall branding methods for establishing who you are. Branding is very important and social media can really help with that. Building an online presence and becoming a leader in your field means offering something of value to others and using a variety of methods to get the information out there.

Use Your Posts Wisely

As you schedule your posts through Social Oomph, or you platform of choice, choose wisely. Don't waste valuable time, yours and others, on silly stuff or simply pushing a product. People will quickly turn you off when you do that. Offer words of advice, short marketing tips, links to videos, motivational quotes - things that will genuinely help others. And direct them back to your blog or website where they can sign up for even more of what you have to offer.

Social Media Pizzazz

When you do these simple things you can harness the power behind social media places such as Twitter. With an effective Twitter strategy you will not just be using it for your own advantage but offering something of value as well. Which is exactly what these companies are looking for.
