Manchester, United Kingdom, - The Image Group, one of the UK's leading large format printers and specialists in banners and exhibition stands, are delighted to announce a significant new order from a Manchester based community Landlord.
Parkway Green Housing Trust is a non-profit local housing company that took ownership of 6,000 Wythenshawe homes from Manchester City Council in October 2006. They manage homes in Baguley, Brooklands, Newall Green, Northenden and Northern Moor. As part of their ongoing improvement plan, the Trust decided to replenish its fifty-strong fleet of maintenance and installation vehicles with new models. The Trust made a decision to cover the entire fleet of new vehicles with full coverage, full-colour graphics. The plan was to use local images of landmarks, members of the community and even prize winning gardens on the sides and rears of the displays.
The Image Group are proud to have been chosen to deliver this prestigious project on Parkway Greens' behalf. Production Manager, Dave Brunt, said recently: "We're thrilled to have the opportunity to wrap Parkway Greens fleet. The designs look fabulous because they really illustrate a sense of community and momentum. The vans are all over graphic wraps which means they resemble the famous SKY TV vans. That means they're instantly recognisable by members of the public. The team at The Image Group are really excited about the news and can't wait to get started in January."
Dave continues, "We're planning to wrap the vehicles on an ongoing schedule starting January 2010 to April 2010 inside our secure 32,000 sq.ft. manufacturing facility. We've got 4 vinyl vehicle specialists in the team at The Image Group who are chomping at the bit to get started. These fleet contracts are specialist by nature, so we're looking forward to showcasing our skills."
Managing Director of The Image Group, Neil Cousins, said: "Working for a local housing trust in Manchester is an honour for us at The Image Group. It's a great project to be involved with because the vans will make such a big impact in the local community. The fact that Parkway green chose The Image Group is a real feather in our cap and we intend to deliver a sensational fleet of vehicles on their behalf".
