But jokes and puns are still simple but great tools that can elicit a giggle or to two. And professional stand-up comedians can bring the house down like rock stars when they go out with guns blazing with their best materials. Some hilarious jokes can be clean, green, dirty and offensive but some can also be self-deprecating and good-natured. And some of the best side-splitters are witty one-liners and snaps that can only come from brilliant minds with hair-trigger humor.
