Beads have been around for as long as there has been man, even the Neanderthals had beads on their clothes and they also had beaded jewelry. As long as man has been able to bore holes into pieces of materials like bone, horn, seeds, wood, pottery, metals and glass, the use of beads is not just a craze for women, but historically, they were also the craze among men.
Take for example the Egyptians who were prime examples of jewelry craft. Both the men and the women wore those fantastic collars made of beads. They were able to combine so many colors in one collar that they did not need to wear extravagant clothes to look fashionable.
There were also beads found in China that dated back to the Bronze Age; the Romans had glass beads; the Etruscans had beaded jewelry in the form of necklaces, rings, earrings, broaches, bracelets, arm bands and more; and there were also pottery beads discovered in Syria that dates way back to the 5th and the 10th centuries.
Today, beads are used by everyone on practically everything. One great example of beaded jewelry set on clothes were those seen on the wedding dress of Sarah Fergusson when she married Prince Andrew of England. Fashion designers like Monique Lhuillier and others who are known to dress the famous actresses of Hollywood consider their beaded gowns as their masterpieces – and they literally costs several thousand dollars, even hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Beaded jewelry does not have to be worn either – some would consider the beaded bag as the main accessory that can enhance the look of an outfit even if the outfit were plain. The beads somehow manage to enhance and augment any look, whether worn as a necklace or in this case, as a bag.
When people say beaded jewelry, do not think necklaces or chunky bracelets. Beads are used to enhance the wearer, no matter that it be made from pottery, wood or the most precious of stones like emeralds and diamonds. When there are beads, somehow the style and design becomes more than it really is and this is what makes the wearer, the women and the men (of past?) feel and look good.
Beaded jewelry for women means wearing an accessory that enhances the way they look physically and when they know they look good, they feel good. Nothing could be better looking than a woman who knows she looks good and her self confidence soars.
The craze of high fashion jewellery has tend the sieraden and Armbanden to
come up with feasible solutions in order to provide high end fashion
experience to its readers prospective buyers.
