FCA's (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) Dodge and Mopar showcased the new 2015 Dodge Charger R/T drag racing car recently. This car will make its debut in the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) drag racing funny car competition on February 5-9, 2015. This competition will be held in the 2015 Winternational event on Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, California.

FCA's (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) Dodge and Mopar showcased the new 2015 Dodge Charger R/T drag racing car recently. This car will make its debut in the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) drag racing funny car competition on February 5-9, 2015. This competition will be held in the 2015 Winternational event on Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, California.

This new 2015 Dodge Charger R/T of NHRA was developed and designed on an innovative platform. With the usage of the same tools and production technology that are also on their street vehicles, the Don Schumacher Racing team, race engineers, and FCA production collaborated on this vehicle. The engineers for this vehicle are also the same ones who engineered a vehicle earlier this year, which was the 2014 Mopar Dodge Dart Pro Stock automobile.

Many people are excited about this new car, especially because of all of its great features and benefits. For example, Mr. Hagan, who is the 2011 NHRA Funny Car World Champion and the contender of the 2014 title, enjoyed the opportunity of test driving the new 2015 Dodge Charger R/T for NHRA. He expressed that this vehicle is phenomenal in appearance and performance. Also, Pietro Gorlier, who is the president and CEO of Mopar Service, expressed how “pleased they are to demonstrate Mopar's commitment for providing parts that exemplify quality performance. “He further stated that they are dedicated to NHRA drag racing, as well as for Mopar's fans by introducing this new vehicle.

From a very spectacular appearance to the ultimate, superior performance, the 2015 Dodge Charger R/T has it all. The engineering experts made sure that this vehicle is very stylish similarly to the 2015 Dodge Charger. This is illustrated with the front and rear ends, and the scalloped sides, for instance. Also, composite materials that include carbon and Kevlar were used to ensure great strength and durability. For critical visibility concerns, the extraordinary team also incorporated geometric changes to move the cockpit area, a.k.a. greenhouse, and the windshield accordingly. And to eliminate potentially destructive effects, proper clearance of the blowers, engine, and injectors were put in place. This vehicle was also validated with the use of aerodynamic and tunnel testing at their Auburn Hills, Michigan's facility. With all of these qualities, the collaborating team instilled reduced resistance, increased downforce, and increased visibility along with great style, great performance, and long lasting durability to produce this extraordinary vehicle.
