Reason #1 - The Information Industry Is A $400 Billion Dollar Industry
Let me ask you one very simple question. Why do people get online? If you answered to get information you would be absolutely correct. People get online because they are looking for some sort of information. And according the Outsell Inc., the information industry is expected to reach well over $400 billion by the end of 2010. And guess what? That's not even the tip of the iceberg. Its expected to keep growing and growing. I personally can see it becoming a trillion dollar industry in a matter of years. And by creating your own information product you have a chance to get a piece of this gigantic pie.
Reason #2 - You Will Build Your Own List Instead Of Someone Else's
I am sure you have heard a lot about the importance of building a list right? That's because a list is a very valuable asset. A list provides you with the opportunity to make millions of dollars just by clicking the send button. You see, when you promote other peoples information products, you are helping them build their list. That means they now have a proven buyer that they can market to over and over again. Making more and more money in the process.
When you create and sell your own information product you will be building your list and not someone else's. That means you will now have the chance to market to customers over and over and make more money in the process.
Reason #3 - You Can Make More Money With Less Effort
Now don't get me wrong here, it will take quite a bit of effort to get your product created, your salespage put together nicely and everything else put in place. But once you have that all put together, you can go out and find affiliates and joint venture partners to help you market the product. Many of these people will have huge lists that they will send mailings to about your new information product. These mailings will generate instant traffic and money. That means you will be able to make more with less effort.
