Some of our favorite pastimes are watching movies, surfing the net, reading books and magazines, playing sports, and meeting other people. In any of these, we are introduced to new ideas, thoughts and even lines that stick to our minds. These thoughts and ideas, whether they come from unknown people’s minds or from famous people, they certainly do stick around. They become part of us and our endless stream of values that guide us in our daily lives.

Quotations whether long or short, have always taken a part in our lives. Short love quotes are the most famous and most in demand because people tend to be natural to the game and scene of love. We love in all stages of our lives. Whether we admit it or not; whether we are conscious of it or not; we are beings capable of loving. We love our families, spouses, children, friends, lovers, even people whom we seldom see. Some even say that loving someone is so natural to us that we feel incomplete without it.

Some people express love overtly while others seem satisfied with simply loving in secret. We have different ways to express them. Women are known to be more expressive and they celebrate the fact that they have this ability. Men, on the other hand, do it either more discreetly especially if it is directed towards a woman he hasn’t known for long. Whether showing it openly or not, it is a known fact that people love and love has played a big part in all our life’s memories.

The love lines we hear are often institutionalized and strengthened over time. They become more used and quoted depending on how people react to them. Some people find love lines and short love quotes a bit cheesy but all of us get to appreciate them and use them. We hear them repeated over and over in movies, TV shows, the internet, in people’s writings, and even in common conversations.

The reason why people tend to remember short love quotes is the fact that we find them inspirational in our daily lives. These quotes become an inspiration to thousands of people all over the world. And who would go against this if the effect is positive? There is certainly nothing wrong with people being more motivated or even simply reminded of life’s lessons even when some quotes have a tragic tone to them.

It has been a natural tendency for man to celebrate a concept and an emotion like love. As rational beings, we also get most of our emotional abilities. We feel love and being in love; we feel pain and suffering; we feel brokenhearted at times; we feel joy and ecstasy even in the simplest experiences tinged with love. Short love quotes serve as reminders for us. We feel reminded and inspired by such beautiful feelings, even of tragic and painful ones. That is their purpose. To make us feel, to make us think, to make us realize something, to create action, or simply to make us feel nostalgic.

Love quotes make us remember the good times of being in love and of being loved. They remind us of the painful yet memorable times of being brokenhearted and crying over lost love. They move us to do something for the sake of love.   They are sentences or phrases which tell us a whole lot more: about families far away, loved ones who have passed on, lovers who are secretly creating a wonderful world for themselves, or even the remote possibility of finding or not finding love in our lives.
