Delhi Hotels - Redefining Affordable Luxury

Delhi being the nerve centre of all business, political and media activities attracts millions of visitors each year who visit Delhi for a brief stop over. These visitors come from varied economic backgrounds and have varied expectations when it comes to luxury. Their available disposable income dictates their choice of accommodation and eating out options in Delhi. The total number of available hotel rooms in Delhi often fails to meet the demand for accommodation from transient guests. Tourists from any strata of the society find it hard to get accommodation of their choice during peak seasons. They end up making uncomfortable compromises.

Their available disposable income dictates their choice of accommodation and eating out options in Delhi. The total number of available hotel rooms in Delhi often fails to meet the demand for accommodation from transient guests. Tourists from any strata of the society find it hard to get accommodation of their choice during peak seasons. They end up making uncomfortable compromises.

The fact that some of the hotels of Delhi have emerged as branded entities says a lot about the level of hospitality offered to the customers. One interesting thing which almost all hotels in Delhi have perfected is the art of Hotels in Delhi pay a lot of attention to food service and even the most discerning gourmets find it hard to pick faults in the authenticity of food that is served in Delhi Hotels. Punjabi and cuisine from North-West frontier provinces are in high demand amongst the people of Delhi.

A brief analysis of the hotel scene in Delhi would reveal that the low priced hotels offering budget accommodation are located in areas close to the railway station or the bus terminuses.   Most of the low budget hotels offer accommodation only and do not provide complimentary meals. Food and beverages are supplied to guests at an extra cost and some of the guests choose to eat outside in dhabas.

Standard amenities in the low priced hotels of Delhi include: Attached bathrooms with Hot and cold running water, television, sofa, beds and similar such amenities which ensure a smooth and pleasant stay for the guests. Laundry, dry cleaning and pressing services apart from travel planning are also available to guests on request.

Tourists who are not very price sensitive and desire comfortable luxury at affordable rates can patronize any of the three and four star hotels that dot the landscape of Delhi. Most of these hotels are located close to the central business district or the diplomatic enclave enabling users to stay close to all the business and entertainment centres of the city.
