Dove Creek Lodge is a boutique hotel on the Florida Key island of Key Largo. It is a small hotel but boasts some of the area's best accommodations. This Key Largo hotel tries to recreate a home feeling but in a paradise setting. It is perfect for all kinds of big occasions like wedding, business retreats, and family affairs. There is an abundance of water activities nearby. But there is also shopping, dining, and cultural activities almost on site. It is a little bit of heaven in paradise, perfect for a dream vacation or event.
Accommodations at Dove Creek Lodge include 21 rooms. The deluxe suites include full kitchens, DVD players, flat screen TVs; private balconies, king size beds, and Wi-Fi. They also have sleeper couches in the living room for a few extra sleeping spaces. Regular suites don't have kitchens but do have refrigerators and most of the other amenities like TV, Wi-Fi, and DVD players. Every room in this Key Largo hotel is comfortable and has a view of the ocean, beach, or the gardens. The staff goes out of their way to provide a homey feel while maintaining luxury treatment. A complimentary continental breakfast is available each morning in the lobby.
Activities near Dove Creek Lodge abound. Most of them revolve around water, but many drier activities are available as well. The Key Largo hotel is next door to two state parks including the all new underwater park John Pennekamp State Park and Bahia Honda State Park. There is plenty of snorkeling and diving opportunity or sites to see in two different catamarans. Boat tours of the Everglades can be scheduled as well. Boats are always available for charter for fishing adventures. Dove Creek Lodge is right in the middle of the most exciting fishing anywhere. Swimming with the dolphins is a popular event as well. For those that wish to remain dry, there is excellent shopping nearby.
Dining at Dove Creek Lodge is an adventure all by itself. The Key Largo hotel is right next to the popular restaurant Snapper which features the Turtle Club. Snapper offers all kinds of fresh fish daily. The menu changes from day to day based on what type of fish comes in on the boats. The Turtle Club features live entertainment nightly. There is a variety of other dining options near Dove Creek that attract both locals and tourists.
