STILLWATER, MN – May 23rd, 2012 – Avalon Medical, a leader in veterinary medical device technology, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with leading animal health products provider MWI Veterinary Supply.  As part of this agreement, MWI will carry Avalon Medical’s innovative RediHeal family of products utilizing a revolutionary new borate biological glass nanofiber.  

RediHeal Wound Care is a borate-based biological glass that contains trace elements to promote a strong angiogenic response. The borate glass reacts with the body’s fluids quickly, releasing elements that stimulate the body to generate new blood vessels. This improves the blood supply to the wound, allowing the body’s normal healing processes to take over.
