The Motorola W230 struts its stuff in two pleasing color faceplates, licorice outlined in lustrous silver and dark titanium gray bordered in mandarin that consumers can interchange at whim. The W230 proves its value even further with music features that keep consumers connected and entertained, including a dedicated music key. Consumers can make their ears dance with both an integrated digital audio player that supports MP3 and other popular formats, and an FM radio with RDS that can be played in stereo through headphones or on the W230's office-quality internal speaker. Store favorite songs on optional removable microSD cards with up to 2GB of memory and download new songs over the air via quick GRPS speeds.

The Motorola W230 has 1.6” 128 x 128 color screen, 9 hours of talk time, and the Crystal Talk audio technology. It also features support for (Hindi + English), as well as seven different African languages. Phones from Motorola are light weight, so this one is too. But apart from this common feature, there are other features too. It has got everything to stay connected GSM which runs on four frequencies 900, and 1800 giving you really good connectivity. GPRS is Class 10 with WAP 2.0 of dual stack browser. The USB is 1.1. It gives you a lean chit talk time of 9 hours. It can pack 500 text messages at a time and phone contacts. Motorola W230 (850 Band) also offers Hingis as of its predictive text input. For good quality of sound it has the Motorola Crystal Talk Technology which enhances the phone call quality by reducing the background noises. The Motorola W230 display of the mobile phone is really cool. With sleek and clear display, you can enjoy the reading and messages which are displayed on the screen. The color display is simply fantastic giving the best features of all the rainbow colors on the display screen. Messaging can be done through SMS, EMS, MMS and SMS Chat.

Music is really cool with this mobile phone. Motorola W230 has a dedicated music key through which you can listen to your favorite music, anywhere, anytime. It also has an integrated audio player which supports MP3 and other music formats. There is also the FM radio with RDS which can be tuned into wherever you are whether in the comfort of your home or in the glaring sun in the high rush. The internal speaker of this mobiles phone gives office quality music. One can also store ones favorite music in the removable micro SD card.
