The Nokia E72 is the device so many of you have been waiting for. If nothing else, today's news that the E72 is now in stores will answer the endless requests we have had wanting to know when E72 goes on sale. And we are so excited. What a device. The Nokia E72 USA is never easy following up an absolute winner, as the E71 is, but the E72 doesn't disappoint (I had a little play with one last week – it's really lovely). The Nokia E72 isn't just about a few tweaks and a nice make over it also adds a whole bunch of new features. Read on to find out more.
The Nokia E72 USA Built on a winning formula, the QWERTY laden E72 takes the best of the E71 and adds more. Brand new is the optical navigation key which makes hopping around the device’s menus a delight. New for this version also come the latest version of Ovi Maps, compass and a five megapixel camera.
The latest version of Nokia Messaging is on board too, giving you access to multiple work and personal email accounts. What's more, Nokia Messaging now supports Instant Messaging too, so you can dial into your favorite IM community right from the home screen. Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Google Talk and Ovi Chat are all supported. And when work gets too much, you can flick to your "play" profile with individual settings putting the Nokia E72 USA into relaxed mode. A useful feature of the Nokia E72 USA is active noise cancellation which enhances the call quality and cuts out background noise. Quick Office is included, offering compatibility with Microsoft Office 2007. Nokia Maps comes pre-installed and the E72 has GPS for sat nave and also a digital compass on board to ensure you are always going in the right direction.
Nokia today also revealed research highlighting that people rely more on email than traditional phone calls or text messaging when sending and responding to critical information. According to the research, we are spending on average five days a year responding to email, whilst 46 per cent of us choose email over voice or text to send and receive important information. Good thing the Nokia E72 is finally here then. Don’t forget to share your excitement in the comments below.
